Hello digital world, this is me, Merideth. Me in all my glory at ISO 166, f18, and 1/100 of a second. This blog is intended for me to share my images and talk about the process and difficulties I faced when taking these pictures. I'll probably wind up complaining and begging for pats on the back as well. If any of you loyal readers have constructive criticism and feedback for me with any of these images (or you want to purchase these gems) please comment and send me your opinions.

For those of you curious about my wicked skillz, this image was taken in my backyard, in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. Taken on a chilly, January day, at approximately 3pm. The lighting from the sun was just right, except I'm standing in the shade. BRILLIANT, RIGHT? I realized that after I finished shooting. Guess this makes me look mysterious, huh?

Phew, the pain of my first post is over. Hopefully you didn't laugh too hard at my pathetic attempts at wit and humor. If anyone has suggestions for future shoots or general photography questions, please let me know!

  1. I think it would be pretty neat if you could have some posts of pictures at non-traditional landmarks in D.C. I also appreciate your attempts at wit and humor; solid effort.

  2. Really looking forward to this blog! Photography is a great form of art because it can appeal to so many people. As someone who doesn't even own a camera because taking off the cap confuses me, I greatly appreciate your skill. Can't wait to see the rest of your talents. The first picture is great!
